
Green Shake
1st Juice this: 1 bunch of Kale, Few stalks of celery, 1 lemon, divide it up into 3 - 4oz. containers.
To make Green Shake use a blender.
Ingredients:
4 oz. of Green Juice (made in juicer)
1 banana
4 ice cubes
1 TBLS of Barlean's Total Omega (I use pomegranate/blueberry, it has Omega 3, 6, & 9)
4 oz of water or less
1 TBLS of raw honey
1/2 scoop of vanilla egg white protein powder
This really does taste good. I often make vegetable juice, but we usually don't 'love' to drink it because the taste isn't great. So this year, I am going to try fun recipes that take the really healthy juice (like the kale & celery) and add it to other things instead of just drinking it alone and not enjoying it. I figure if I am gonna be doing this for the next 70 years I might as well enjoy it!
