Family Trip to the THUMB

Justin and I grew up in the Thumb of Michigan, that is, Caseville or Pigeon (Over 2 hours North of Detriot). Now we only get up there about 3 times a year. It was nice to run into so many familiar faces, and also see 'kids' who are now adults! My mom had everything ready and the fridge full!

This year we had a special surprise visit from my brother, Bill, and his family (Carol, Jakey and Drew), they live in southern California, so it was a big trip for them with 2 small children!
My sister and her family (Ty, Josey and Baby Addison) came also, she has a new little baby (as you see in the pictures).
We all had fun watching the 7 kids swim, climb, ride bikes, do sparklers, putt putt, big slide, slip-n-slide, etc.
It is always nice to spend time with family. Family is important, they care more than we know, they love more than we think, and they will be there for us through good and bad. Never take your family for granted. Enjoy them, appreciate each person's unique traits and don't forget to tell them you love them.

I know I love mine!
