Let's dream alittle. If I found $1,000 - in the yard, in my purse, in the mail box, in a basket of laundry, anywhere............ what would I do with it?
Well I have pondered this thought lately, and here's what I came up with.
OPTION #1
1. Justin and I would both go the the dentist. (The kids go twice a year, but we haven't gone in 5 plus years) ($300)
2. I would buy a food processor. ($60)
3. I would buy a quality blender, but not top of the line. ($140)
4. I would buy a water softener. ($400).
5. I would give $100 away to charity or a person in need.
OPTION #2
1. I would put all $1,000 into our savings for a new-to-us Vehicle to replace our van.
OPTION #3
1. I would give it all away to charity or a person in need.
OPTION #4
1. I would get new flooring in my kitchen.
How about you, what would you do? And just for fun, pick the option you like best out of my 4 options.

you as so funny. guess what happened to me. i DID just get $1000!!! caleb's aunt sent it to us. his grandfather passed away a little over a year ago. caleb's mom would have gotten inheritance but didn't since she passed away years ago, and the will stated no money was to go to the grandkids...but his aunt felt she should share some, so each of the kids (jen, emily, caleb) got $1000 :)
I like your car option.
I am paying bills with it and taking kennedy to an ENT dr.
I like option 1. It is like you are getting a bunch of gifts, not just one. :)
