"I'm strong, and brave and beautiful and I'm gonna ride my bike today!" This is the line Justin taught Miah to say as she learned to ride her bike with NO TRAINING WHEELS!!!!!
Miah's training wheels were not working right on her bike for quite some time now, so she hasn't wanted to ride bike at all. And our family rides bike a lot, so we decided we might as well take the training wheels off and let her give it a go. So Sunday night and then again tonight, Justin got her bike all ready and gave her lessons. I got all the necessary pads/helmet in place, and the boys and I did our riding while we cheered Miah on. To our amazement, she did it. Not really the first night, but tonight she totally went like 30 seconds with Justin running beside her (not holding on at all). And she did it 3 or 4 times and she steered on her own, so cool. She was so proud of herself, and I must say, we were all very proud of our little Miah as well. The theme of the whole night was, Strong, brave and beautiful. She repeated that over and over again.

Strong, brave, and beautiful. Way to go Justin for calling that out in her. I love it. :) She will never forget that.
