I don't really like the term "New Years Resolutions". So for the past 5 or so years, I haven't done any thing like this. But, this year I was inspired and ambitious!
So I spent some time, over the course of 3 days, and wrote down anything that came to my mind that was a goal, plan, good idea, etc. Then I made a chart and organized my thoughts into 4 categories.
My 4 categories are:
1. FAMILY
2. SPIRITUAL
3. FINANCIAL
4. HEALTH
I will share some of my "new years resolutions"
FAMILY
1. Rest - every Sunday
2. Plan fun free family outings
SPIRITUAL
1. Bible Reading Plan - I put my own plan together for the year. So January I am reading the book of Proverbs, February is Matthew, March is Psalms, April is Jeremiah, May is Luke, June is Ecclesiastes, July is Genesis, August is John, September is Phil./Eph., October is Acts, November is Romans, December is Isaiah
2. Don't get offended.
3. Talk less, don't nag or try to control everything
4. Monday nights at Manowe
FINANCIAL
1. Pay off debt
2. Spend less everyday.
HEALTH
1. Chew food at least 25 times per bite
2. Eat more raw food. Try new recipes
3. Eat more Fish
4. Learn to make sprouted bread, kefir and yogurt
5. Train and compete in a tri-athalon, two 5K's and one 10K
So that is basically it. I made a big poster and have it hanging in my room. Do you have any goals, plans, resolutions for the year? I'd love to hear from you.

You are such an organizer! Very organized thoughts and inspiring. I remember your "word" from last year was wisdom. I've thought of that often. How'd that go for you? I've decided to start with a word this year and then hopefully go from there (as your "goals" have inspired me to make some more). My word is Joy. I'm hoping to expound on that in my blog very soon. :) Hope you enjoy reaching those goals and are flexible to give yourself some grace too (in case they need to change some :) I"m sure you'll do great, you are a very disciplined person! Love you Jen.
