My Jalen teaches me so much about having a positive attitude and joyful spirit. He can always see the positive in about everything. He really loves to do the right thing and is quick to forgive when others don't do the right thing. He is thankful and so full of hugs and kisses. He wakes up with a smile and goes to bed with a smile. He is diligent in doing his chores and keeping his room neat. He is such a blessing to me and loves me even when I mess up or I forget something. He is patient. Just today I forgot to make his breakfast shake this morning when I made everyone elses, and he waited patiently (no complaining) and I still forgot, so now it is 11:30am and he says oh so sweetly, "can I have my shake now?", Yes I felt terrible, but he kept on smiling as I apologized and made his shake for him. He is fun, silly, and very high energy, but also loving and compassionate!
I am blessed daily by this little six year old!
(Ants beware! Jalen loves to kill ants, he spends hours in the yard seeking out and destroying ants!)
