Nothing too exciting to blog about. Life is going good. Today was picture day at school, which was not really a big deal and yet a big deal at the same time. Miah was really thinking picture day was for her too, so I got the camera out and took a few pictures of her too. The boys had fun picking out their clothes the night before. (I have a feeling it will be a bigger event when Miah is in school.) Miah reminded me all day that I promised to take her to Target to get her own pictures taken.
I am very ready for the hot weather to pass. I really like Fall, and can't wait till next week when it is suppose to be in the 60's!!!
I am reading a GREAT book, I will probably blog about it in the future, but I want to finish reading/studing it first.
I had a massage today. I know that is so NOT me, but I have been having some MAJOR back and neck issues the last few weeks, so I made an appointment, and it was truly a great decision. I feel 100% better. I really cannot put into words how much it helped. This morning I couldn't even lift my arm over my head to get dressed, and driving was hard because I couldn't turn my head side to side. So YEAH, finally feeling better, not back to normal, but better.
I have a big TO DO list for tomorrow. Thursday is the only day that I don't have to work at all outside of the home, so for some reason, I have so much more energy and time to get things done at home, so I look forward to Thusdays.
Miah is officially done taking naps. She is almost 4 years old, and has still been taking naps about 5 days a week, but she is now to the point where she sleeps way better at night if she has no nap, and she just does better overall with no nap. So this is the first time in almost seven years that I do not have a child napping. No more nap time. I agree with all you older people out there that tell me how quickly these years go by. My baby is almost 4 years old. And my sweet little Cameron turns seven in 3 weeks!!!!!! He is counting down the days. He loves being the oldest and he loves the special priviledges that come with it.
I have never been big into the whole 'study of birth order' thing. Most things I have read in the past didn't seem to apply to me or to Justin. He is the oldest and I am the youngest. In many ways, neither of us seem to fit the typical '1st born' or 'baby' characteristics. But, since I now have three, and I have a 1st, middle and baby, it is very interesting to me to study and understand the differences. When I finish the one book I am reading now, my next book is going to be all about birth order. I suddenly have an interest.
Exercise has been on the back burner for me the past 3 weeks!!!! I have been nursing a knee injury, back injury and neck injury..... long story... frustrating... slowly getting better. I am still working... but not working out. So somewhat of a bummer, but also good. I think I needed a break, and this was just my body's way of letting me know I need a little rest.
I ran into a friend at Target who was already shopping for her kids Halloween costumes.... is that normal????? :)
Jalen prayed at the dinner table today. He asked for God to heal Miah, He thanked Jesus for dieing on the cross and dieing for our sins. He thanked God for food and water and family. It was very precious.
Life is Good! Give a big hug to those near you and thank God for the many blessings in your life both big and small.

First of all...who did your massage? I think I need one too!
I am sorry Miah is done napping. I still make Belle go in her room for "quiet" time every day for my own sanity. :)
